I received a PDF.file for this short story from The Romance Review website as a Review Request which was granted [random selection.] The following is my honest opinion.Have you ever wondered what is it about the color red for a dress which makes men go wild even over the plainness looking of women? If you’ve been ever in a long-termed relationship, whether married or not, you must remember how it might have changed, as the spark of excitement of being together, naked in bed and doing whatever, has slowly fizzled out. If you can, you can easily step into Cecilia’s shoes and experience what is happening in her marriage to Neil.
Neil is a hard working guy with a new job which requires him to take out clients on a regular basis leaving him tired with no time for his sexy wife. Cecilia is the type of woman who no longer merely enjoys the sexual interludes she has had with her husband. Cecilia has become sexually addicted to it; and like drug addicts not getting the fix they need; Cecilia now has withdrawal symptoms when Neil is not around to fulfill her desires each night.
In an attempt to rekindle the flame of his suppressed sexual desires, Cecilia decides to take tantalizing selfies of herself, and send them to him. Unfortunately this backfires it’s merely creating irritating difficulties for Neil. With it being the Christmas season Cecilia decides to put on a sexy red dress, one which she’s probably not worn for a long time with some tinsel placed on it; and then send him a few more selfie. This time she finally gets her desired wish for Christmas fulfilled.
If the flame of your relationship has seemed to fizzled out, try what Cecilia has done in this steamy erotic short story, and find that red dress you must have in your wardrobe and put it on, some sexy perfume wouldn’t hurt as well.
I read this short story as I had my morning cup of Joe and a light breakfast; and for having put me in the Christmas spirit, even though it’s the middle of August on a hazy, hot, and humid day when I read this, I’ve given it 5 STARS.

Erzabet Bishop’s novellas are like those expensive, beautifully crafted, handmade chocolates. No matter which one you choose, it is perfection in miniature. Each one is unique, delicious, and thoroughly satisfying. I’ve always preferred full length novels to novellas. However, Ms. Bishop is bringing me over to the novella side one sexy story at a time.
Cecily and Neil began as a love-at-first-sight, follow the yellow brick road kind of relationship. Date for a while, get engaged, get married. Nothing wrong with predictable. Cecily soon learned Neil was anything but. It not only shocked the hell out of her, it rocked her world! The first time he instructed her to wear a revealing dress and sexy lingerie without panties, she was on edge anticipating what naughty thing he had up his sleeve. Never in her wildest dreams did she expect Neil to ravage her against a glass wall just as the museum was about to close. That exhilarating adventure set the tone for their marriage. Cecily loves Neil’s dominant side, the sexy clothes he buys to show her off in, and his insatiable lust for her. She not only loves it, she craves it, and needs it.
Unfortunately, Neil’s adventurous side has gone missing due to the demands of a new job; longer hours, a more substantial work load, and taking clients out after working hours. Having been stood up one too many times lately, Cecily has been living off of erotic memories of Neil taking her in hand and demanding what he wants. Tonight, Neil is late for their dinner date. Again. Fueled by those sexy memories, Cecily takes matters into her own hands. After all, it’s Christmas Eve. A Red Dress for Christmas starts out steamy and does NOT let up. I love Cecily’s confidence in her marriage even though she has fleeting thoughts that Neil may be losing interest. She wants her man back and goes for it. Neil hasn’t lost interest at all. In fact, when he gets home, he lets Cecily know just how much he’s missed her. And that she’s going to pay for even thinking he’s lost interest. When Neil unleashes his Dom...oh boy! What a fun, oh so sexy, novella! It certainly got my heart pounding and everything else revved up. My husband thanks you, Erzabet Bishop.

In the beginning Cecilia and Neil would always have time for fun and games. And I do mean the exceptional get down and kinky kind.
For instance- While the business is still open, having mad passionate sex on the glass wall. Imagine the risk, and how that must’ve felt. The adrenaline, the excitement, the build up, and yes even the love.
After getting used to all of this passion and romance, Cecily became addicted. It wasn’t just for the fun, and the love it anymore, she literally needed it, and depended on it.
Then Neil lands a new job with demanding hours, a big work load, and no time for or to himself. He is always going out with clients after hours, and has no time for the love of his life.
Cecily tries sending Neil teasing selfies. Those only cause annoying problems for Neil. Now Cecily must take care of herself. So disappointingly, she puts on a sexy red dress, some tinsel and takes yet more selfies, and then as she decides to handle herself, her dom decides to give her the Christmas wish of her dreams!
This book “A Red Dress for Christmas” was everything you would want and expect from Erzabet and more. The story is so hot and dreamy, and creamy, you will not be able to put it down. When Erzabet let me read this book, I was excited, in so many ways. This is a five star read, and it will be the read of your dreams. If you love sweet, erotic, romance, you will love every moment of this book. Cecilia and Neil have a truly loving relationship, and time and Neils job just managed to get into the way of what they were used to. We can all relate to this. But I truly love how this book makes for a delightful dream come true kind of Christmas wish, sex under the tree, kind of- everything you would ever want, sexual fantasy. I was just so in love with this book, and every step it took. I loved everything about this book, just as I am sure you will!
